A task card and Powerpoint presentation for ideas on how to adapt a front support for apparatus - individually and with a partner. Both are differentiated and levelled. There are 18 different images across 4 levels. The text is editable so you are able to change the levels to suit your schools assessment model. Uses: Display each slide on the powerpoint for students to get an idea of how front support can be adapted Give the task card for students for independent learning Use the powerpoint for examples of HOW to adapt balances and then ask students to pick a balance of their own and adapt it. This bundle contains gymnastics balances for 3s and 4s. Each product contains around 30-40 gymnastics balances that are differentiated by colour - easiest to hardest: Green, Yellow, Red , Purple. I would recommend only those with a sports acrobatics gymnastics background attempt the purple one without support. A new fun and different way for students to create a basic sequence. These dice are great for use in a lesson on individual balances or as a one off activity in a gymnastics unit on creating individual sequences. This resource includes: -2 x Easy balances dice templates to print -2 x Medium balances dice templates print -2 x Hard balances dice templates print -1x Powerpoint file for the teacher to use to pick random links between balances. This includes a random links spinner, and an on screen prompt list for each type of link. HOW TO: Students pick a difficulty, roll the first dice for their starting balance and then roll the second for their ending balance. The teacher spins the links wheel on the powerpoint and students use that to link their 2 balances together. This process can be repeated many times to create a sequence. A SOW / set of 6 lesson plans for hockey, one set for a higher ability group and one set for a lower ability group. This SOW was created to save time for busy teachers and is made so teachers with little/no hockey experience can teach it just as well as those with lots.
